First a woolen works and later the Ghiradelli Chocolate Factory, this red-brick complex was remodeled and restored to contain an enticing miscellany of shops, art galleries and restaurants.

Ghiradelli Square includes a number of buildings ( with names such as Mustard , Cocoa and Chocolate) all of which are situated around this inviting plaza. Shops in the square contain imports from such places as Africa. the Netherlands (Holland) , Asia ( the Orient) , Finland (Scandinavia), and Freece/

For example you can watch thin crepes being made and sample them as well as Mexican , Chinese, Hungarian , Indian or Italian foods. At the Ghiradelli Chocolate Manufactory you can watch chocolate being made.
